Don Tontiplaphol teaches political theory and the philosophy of social science at Harvard.  His research interests center on Aristotelian thought in general, and on practical reason, intentional action, and democratic theory.  He also has interests in Catholic theology and the history of science. As an undergraduate, he studied philosophy and political science at Yale; he received his PhD in political theory from Harvard.  He hails from New Orleans, and he likes to cook.
