Alexia Pastré obtained her BSc in Physics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) and then continued onto a MSc in the same field at ETH Zurich. She is currently pursuing her master’s thesis at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health where her research focuses on better understanding how genetic mutations accumulate over time leading to the development of cancer.  

Alexia also co-founded Les Cafés Philo in 2019. Thought as an interdisciplinary platform for academics, intellectuals and young professionals, Les Cafés Philo promotes rigorous and open-minded discussions through bi-monthly debate sessions on Harvard’s campus.
